01 General
1.1 Project Background
This 100kVA single phase pole mounted transformer was delivered to America in 2023. The rated power of the transformer is 100 kVA, the primary voltage and secondary voltage of the transformer are 19.92/0.24 kV. 02 Manufacturing
2.1 Core
<0.35mm, wound one or more times. The coil of coil core transformer usually adopts a coaxial coil structure. By strengthening the magnetic circuit and adjusting the voltage ratio of coil, the transformer's electrical parameters can be changed. Because the coil core is wound along the best magnetic direction of the oriented silicon steel sheet, it fully gives full play to the superior performance of the oriented silicon steel sheet, the magnetic flux direction is completely consistent with the orientation of the silicon steel sheet, the overload capacity is strong, and the magnetic circuit distortion is small, so the no-load loss and no-load current are smaller than the laminated iron core (the laminated iron core will have magnetic circuit distortion because of the laminated joint).

2.2 Winding

Foil winding consists of parallel foil sheets, usually made of copper or aluminum. These foils are spaced apart and interleaved to form the structure of the winding. This design makes the foil winding can better heat dissipation when subjected to high current, but also reduces the resistance and inductance of the winding, and improves the electrical performance of the winding. The biggest feature of foil winding is that it is rolled on a special winding machine, which has a high℃of automation and provides high productivity and product quality. The turn, that is, the interlayer and longitudinal capacitance is large, the spiral Angle is eliminated, the short-circuit impact resistance is relatively strong, the mechanical strength is high, the construction is convenient, the axial and radial errors are small, the geometric size is easy to ensure, the turn is relatively tight, not easy to have bubbles, and the surface is smooth. The foil winding can also reduce the partial discharge and improve the insulation performance of the winding.
2.3 Tank
Our company uses high-quality stainless steel as the raw material for the production of fuel tanks, and uses hydraulic machinery or other forming equipment to bend, cut and press the steel plate into the desired shape of the fuel tank. Butt the components and perform gas shielded welding or other welding processes to ensure the tightness and structural strength of the tank. All seals are sealed at the end limit; The metal parts inside and outside the box are rounded to remove hair, and the weld seam and seal are tested for three times (fluorescence, positive pressure, negative pressure leakage test); The paint is made according to the standard anti-rust requirements.

2.4 Final Assembly

1. Core assembly: The core assembly of the column transformer is assembled on the transformer base or fixed frame according to the design requirements.
2. Winding assembly: Winding wire of a certain specification is wound on the iron core of the transformer according to the design requirements, including primary winding and secondary winding. Use insulation to isolate the winding coils.
3. Insulation treatment: the winding is insulated, including insulating paint treatment and baking, to ensure good insulation performance.
4. Install other components: such as fuel tank, oil level gauge, gas release device, cooler, etc.
5. Insulation oil injection: The insulation oil is injected into the transformer oil tank to fill the transformer internal space and ensure that the oil level height meets the requirements.
03 Testing
1. Winding insulation test: The insulation performance of the winding is tested, including the insulation resistance test between the winding, the dielectric loss measurement and partial discharge test.
2. High voltage test: High voltage test between windings, between windings and ground, and between windings and iron cores to ensure the reliability of insulation and prevent breakdown.
3. No-load test: test at rated voltage to measure no-load loss and no-load current at rated voltage, check whether the magnetic coupling and iron loss of the transformer meet the design requirements.
4. Load test: test under rated load to detect the overall performance of the transformer, including loss, temperature rise, voltage regulation performance, etc.
5. Short-circuit test: the short-circuit voltage and short-circuit loss of the transformer are tested to verify the short-circuit performance and thermal stability of the transformer.
6. Insulation oil quality test: the dielectric loss, acid value, water content and other tests are carried out on the insulation oil to check whether the quality of the insulation oil meets the standard requirements.
7. Appearance inspection: Check the appearance of the transformer to check whether there are oil leakage, deformation, loosening and other problems in the fuel tank, winding and insulation parts.
